Henderson DUSEL Capstone Workshop: Social Events

1. Workshop Reception: May 4, Thursday, 6:30 PM - 9:00 PM

The Workshop Reception will be held at the Jasmine Restaurant in the Wang Center on campus. Companions are welcome to join the reception.

2. Workshop Dinner: May 5, Friday, 7:00 PM - 11:00 PM

The Workshop Dinner with a live jazz ensemble will be held at the Port Jefferson Country Club. Companions are welcome to join the banquet for $25/person fee. (Fee for Children under 12 is $15.) Vans will leave the Wang Center at 6:20 PM for the Port Jefferson Country Club.

3. Mets vs. Braves Baseball Game at Shea Stadium: May 7, Sunday 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM

A limited number of tickets are available for this game between these two perennial rivals. The Mets are expected to win the division this season. Rides to the Stadium can be provided upon request at the workshop. Make your request for the tickets using the workshop registration forms.

4. Broadway Show "Mamma Mia": May 7, Sunday, 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM

A limited number of tickets are available for this Tony award winning and one of the most popular broadway shows. Rides to the Stadium can be provided upon request at the workshop. Make your request for the tickets using the workshop registration forms.

5. Companion Program: May 4 - 6

Depending on the demand, a companion program can be arranged for the companions. This could include a tour of Stony Brook/Three Village area, a trip to the east end of Long Island (East and South Hamptons, wineries, etc.), and a trip to Manhattan.
