All scientific sessions will be held in the auditorim and other meeting rooms
in the Student Activity Center at the Stony Brook west campus.
The Workshop Reception on Thursday will be held
at the Jasmine Restaurant in the Wang Center at the Stony Brook west campus.
The Workshop Dinner on Friday evening will be held
at the Port Jefferson Country Club in Port Jefferson.
Directions to the Student Activity Center/Wang Center
from the Long Island Express way (I-495)
Exit from East bound Long Island Expressway (I-495) at exit 62 (Nicolls Road).
Follow the loop to Stony Brook direction which will go under the freeway.
Go on Nicolls Road (Route 97) north for about 10 minutes. After passing the
intersection at Route 347, you will pass the South Entrance to the Stony Brook
West Campus on the left. Then you will pass the University Hospital towers
on your right and at the next traffic light you will see the Main Entrance
on the left. Take a left at the Main Entrance. At the first stop sign,
you will see the Wang Center on your right across. Make a right
at the first stop sign
and look for a faculty/staff parking lot on your right.
Park your car in the lot and go to the Student Activity Center and register.
You can obtain parking permits at the registration.
If the parking lot is full, find any other parking lot that has a faculty/staff
parking sign, and follow the procedure described above.
