Abstract:
The Standard Model Extension (SME) is a general effective field theory that includes both the Standard Model and General Relativity while allowing for Lorentz violation (LV) and CPT violation. T2K, and other neutrino oscillation experiments, can probe for these violations. Presented is some SME background along with the beginning analysis steps for the T2K LV analysis.
