Abstract:
The effect of decreasing the P0D granularity has been studied using a detailed hit level detector simulation and event reconstruction. A detector design based on the MINERvA scintillating bar is found to have similar performance to the original P0D baseline design and is chosen as the new interim P0D baseline, pending collaboration approval.
